Summer Youth Theatre Produces Sondheim's 'Into The Woods'

Summer Youth Theatre (SYT), south Dayton’s premier theatre experience for serious young performers for over 45 years, is in rehearsal for their summer production of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods. Since 1969, southern Dayton theatre-goers have been treated to SYT’s outstanding programming which features bold and ambitious projects. Director Tina Shatto and music Director Brett Greenwood have assembled an impressive team for this production including a stellar cast with students from Centerville, Springboro, Germantown, Middletown, Monroe, Franklin, Lebanon, Edgewood.

SYT offers and Evening of Master Classes

Dayton native and Broadway veteran, Tonya Wathen, will be returning home to teach a one-day Broadway musical master class for ages 12 and up. The master class will be held by Summer Youth Theatre (SYT) and is open for public enrollment.
